distmp3 software package provides A Perl client and daemon for distributed audio encoding, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install distmp3
distmp3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the distmp3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep distmp3 *
You will get with distmp3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
